I’ve been busy since after-Christmas helping my 14 year old son with the Feb. 4 Sweetheart Ball, a fundraiser for his 8th grade DC school trip. Many of my friends and family seem surprised that we are putting on such an ambitious event. Thing is, this is the kind of stuff I know how to do, having put on fundraisers & special events for a couple of decades now. It’s a lot of work, but it’s fun teaching my son the ropes.
