Sun’s Out

Pink Think: “When the sun is shining I can do anything; no mountain is too high, no trouble too difficult to overcome.” – Wilma Rudolph

Last night I finished reading Bram Stoker’s Dracula. I had watched movie versions before, but this was the first time I cracked open the book. And I must say, despite some of the really, really long passages, I was positively terrorized!

To answer Heather’s question she asked here, “Why do you like writing suspense?” it is because I love being scared by a book! So my dream is to someday take a reader on a breathless, suspenseful horror story like Bram Stoker does in his book.

Yes sirree, I set realistic goals.

I went from caskets and vampires last night…

…to glorious sun this morning.

Wonderful, amazing warmth in the cab of my truck as I tooled around, dropping off a query at the post office (!), listening to country/rock on the radio. Temperature in the 40’s…

On top of that, I played basketball with some ladies in my church and danced at my clogging class earlier in the week. I did not feel my age.

I am like a sparkling snowflake, watch me!
