Calling All Freuds

Pink Think: “Dreaming permits each and every one of us to be quietly and safely insane every night of the week.” – William Dement

Lately, I haven’t been dreaming at night. Maybe because I am just so exhausted at the end of the day. But this past Saturday, I had a dream, and it went something like this:

Our family got a kitten, which fit in a small pencil case-like container which zipped up. And every now and then, I would lose the pencil case. I would find it under piles or some other weird place.

And then the scene changed, and I was at the store, shopping for cat supplies: litter box, cat litter, litter scoop. The works. And my dream ended there, with me wondering how to clean the litter box.

Some of you might already know that my youngest daughter has been wanting a kitten and I have repeatedly said no. When she recently had a dream about it, I honest-to-goodness thought about it again, but I had to say no. I thought it was a done deal.

And then I had this dream.

Coincidence? A sign? What does it mean?!
