Anchor

Pink Think: “Children are the anchors of a mother’s life.” – Sophocles

Art from Eden Platform

I was seeing my youngest daughter off the other day when she turned to me at the front porch with a worried look.

“You’re going to be there at 2 right?” she said.

At first I couldn’t remember. And then I did. It was her 6th grade maturation program. “Yup,” I assured her.

She smiled, looking relieved, and left to catch the bus.

I felt like a good mom. For all my past failings, I’m glad I could do something right and be there for her.
