This past Saturday, our family went with friends Lou and Jim on a river rafting trip down the Colorado River. We went on a 13-mile stretch in Moab called “The Daily.” With spring runoff so high, we had fun rapids to go through, including “Professor,” “New,” and “Whites.” The kids and my husband Drew had front row seats and got SOAKED. (For the record, I sat in the back because there wasn’t room in the front; good excuse huh.) Water was freezing (source: Colorado snow) but with the sun peeking out often, it wasn’t bad at all. In this photo, Drew is rowing. He did exceptionally well. We only ejected two passengers (kidding!). Our youngest was 8, old enough to go river rafting. What a fun family adventure!
