Pink Think: “Not everybody trusts paintings, but people believe photographs.” – Ansel Adams
As promised, here are photos from “Writing for Charity,” which took place this morning at Salt Lake City Public Library. You can read all the details here.
The cool thing about blogging is you meet someone for the first time in person, but you feel like you’ve known them for a long time:
The presenters:
How would you like to be critiqued by Brandon Mull? (He was actually very nice. And funny. He reminded me of a boy who has never quite grown up.)
Ann Cannon seems like a person whom I’d enjoy talking to over lunch:
And of course, here’s my photo with Shannon herself (she’s quite the ham):
Great pictures, Jewel, especially that first one. Your friends are beautiful.
It was really fun. I enjoyed seeing all of your pictures. IF only I had thought to bring my camera, but alas, I did not. So, thanks for posting them.
I have gorgeous friends, don’t I? π I had to take photos of my oldest daughter’s favorite authors.
I am so jealous! I so wanted to go, but family vaction took priority. Glad you had fun.
Amazingly enough, I had an open weekend. π
I’m so glad that we could meet and visit!
My first page didn’t go over as well as I would have liked, but that’s okay. Ann Dee Ellis told me to email my first chapter to her and that she would help me, so that made me feel better. π
That’s cool that you and Kristi had offers for help from your workshop authors.
(Btw I tried your technique of writing first, then blog-checking later…it works!! Thanks for the idea!)
It was so nice to meet you! And look at your lovely blog–it’s a pleasure to peruse.
Keep up the good work.
Thanks Ann!
