Goodbye 2014, Hello 2015!

What a great year 2014 has been! As I look back, I am so grateful for all the milestones I have been able to reach.

In October, I finally took the plunge and shared GHOST MOON NIGHT with the world. So grateful for all your support with this novel that is so near and dear to my heart.

2014 held an interesting surprise…I segued from op-ed columnist to joining the political arena, using my experience as a journalist. I have learned a lot in the process, about politics and community advocacy. I’ve learned that writers need to be thoughtful stewards of the power of words. Harnessed responsibly, this influence can be a force for good and empowering for other citizens.

As a ghostwriter, I have had the privilege this year of helping four families achieve their cherished goal of publishing their life stories. Their projects took many months’ work, during which it has been fun and gratifying to get to know their families intimately. My creative team has grown — I am thrilled to be able to expand my business while continuing to work on my fiction.

Most importantly, my family has been blessed with a missionary serving in the Philippines, two other children whose example I continually learn from, and a husband who supports me constantly.

I am so grateful to Heavenly Father for continuing to grant me these opportunities for growth and joy. May the new year be amazing for all of us, friends!
