Just read Susan Breen’s “The Fiction Class.” The protagonist, Arabella, gives her class the first assignment, and it is this: Make a list of 5 obsessions. They’ll make compelling subjects for your stories.
Mine are:
1. the color pink (surprise!)
2. flossing (my husband and writer’s group can attest to this)
3. ghosts
4. the Philippines
5. eighteenth century Spain

Hey, when did you start a blog??? How did I miss this? I would have tagged you first if I’d known. Guess my head’s been in the clouds.
As far the five obsessions . . . hmmm, let’s see.
1. Wolves
2. Anything celtic
3. Fantasy and mythology
4. Music – particularly K.T. Tunstall as of late.
5. The great outdoors.
