I was reading someone’s account of how they launched their book on Kindle Scout. They have bought up a bunch of ads in places. To be honest, if I were a reader without a relationship with an author, I might not respond. But I hope it works out in their favor. (Update: it did. The book is now hot & trending.)
On the flipside, I don’t want to obligate anyone to vote for my book, just because they are a friend of mine.
As long as it stays on the H&T list, I’m just going to keep my feet in the water so to speak, and take it easy on the dock.
